Marni has served as the Loudoun County Volunteer Rescue Squad’s elected Secretary since January of 1996 (with a 2 year break when Kira was born). In 1995, just prior to becoming Secretary, Marni started calculating the retirement points and was the creator of the infamous purple books. During the month of November, Marni calculated and entered hundreds of retirement points for our membership into the county system. On a quarterly basis she meets with the Participation Review Committee to determine who is in good status as a member. Last month she was available for us to review and sign our points for submission to Loudoun County. She dedicates many, many hours each year during November to ensure our retirement points are calculated correctly and for that Marni is Decembers Member of the Month.
